We sell a range of over 100 different etched brass and nickel silver kits in 7mm/ft. scale together with a number of kits in 4mm/ft. scale.
Our range is based on prototypes associated with Welsh railways together with a diverse selection of rolling stock from around the UK. Most of our kits are of designs that emerged during the pre-grouping period. Some of these designs lasted into the British Railways era and can add an interesting touch to layouts of that period.
We also sell a variety of 12 Volt DC motors under our Taff Vale Models brand designed for use in model locomotives. These are smooth and quiet units, all having five pole skew wound armatures and are intended to help fill the gap left by closure of Mashima.
You can order motors online at our website www.taffvale.wales where you can also browse our catalogue of kits. We accept all cards/cheques and cash (in person only).
