By Car
There are four Pay & Display Car Parks nearby
- Sophia Gardens Pay & Display Car Park (by National Express Coach Station) - CF11 9SX - 6 minute walk.
- Pontcanna Fields Pay and Display Car Park (accessed from Fields Park Road off Cathedral Road) - CF11 9JP - 9 minute walk.
- Llandaff Fields Pay and Display Car Park - CF11 9PQ - 12 minute walk.
- North Road Pay and Display Car Park (via Bute Park and across Millenium Footbridge) - CF10 3DU - 20 minute walk.
Note: There is limited on-site parking at Gate 2 for blue badge holders with other places allocated on a first-come first served basis.

By Bus
Cardiff Bus services run regularly between Cardiff Central Station and Cathedral Road (adjacent to Sophia Gardens Cardiff).
Routes going via Cathedral Road include:-
- Number 25 Circular Service to Llandaff North and North Road
- Number 62 Service to Llandaff, Danescourt, Pentrebane, Fairwater & Canton.
- Number 63 service Ffordd Berllan, Central Station, Radyr to Llandaff.
